Guided by Winemaker Tyler Thomas, whose site-driven approach reveals the distinct character of both the Sta. Rita Hills and Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara County, and Shekar Sathyanarayana, founder of Nalla, this dinner invites you to explore spice, structure, and story in one of California’s most unique cellar settings. Live sitar and tabla music will accompany the evening, and guests will explore spices, savor bold pairings, and connect over a shared love of food and wine—all softly illuminated inside our subterranean caves.

Begin the evening with a glass of our Estate Chenin Blanc, overlooking the Santa Ynez Mountains and the Los Padres National Forest as the sun sets in twilight.

Guest host Shekar will share the story of how this collaboration was born, while winemaker Tyler Thomas invites you into the sensory world of Star Lane wines.
A Four-Course Journey
Savor four thoughtfully prepared dishes—two vegetarian and two non-vegetarian—each designed to showcase how spice and wine elevate one another, transforming familiar flavors into something extraordinary. Note: All dietary restrictions and allergies will be accommodated.
